Along the highway thru the Keys we needed a coffee boost. We grabbed Cuban coffee from Denny's. While there I decided to try my first Cuban sandwich. The place was empty but for an old local reading the paper. The two ladies were friendly as they chattered in Spanish to each other and checked on us occasionally. The sandwich was just okay but the coffee was really good. The Cuban decor was a bright and fun mix of Cuban and local feel. Stop in for a quick Cuban coffee, and maybe buy one of the fake Cohiba cigars displayed on the counter! Haha.

The coffee is one of the best, also loved the flan.

Hands down the BEST black beans ever!!! The roast chicken was soooo flavorful and melted in my mouth. A must stop for any meal!!

The food was delicious and authentic. The sandwiches were huge and loaded with meat. The proces were very reasonable. We will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Just stopped by the window to pick up some a food from this Cafe. Terrible service to begin with. Lady had a terrible attitude & not friendly whatsoever. Must’ve woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Croquetas and empanadas were horrendous. Dry, nasty, and no flavor whatsoever. Would never come back here again.

Mmmm, got a Cafe con Leche, and conch fritters, $12.5 total... Bit pricey for only 6 little fritters.... coffee was good, but not legit café con Leche, it was made quickly, with espresso and just hot milk, not really streamed... Little disappointed, but it was still good flavor.

I'll start positive: their mojo sauce and tostones are amazing! But sadly when a roach decides to join you for lunch in the middle of the table in the middle of the day, you don't come back. You're better off driving a little further down to Sunrise Cuban Cafe.

Best Cuban sandwich! It's a must try! The hubby had the chimney and it was awesome! A place to try if you like Mexican/ Cuban food!

The owners where very friendly and gave great service.we had breakfast and was good.pastelitos would need to be a bit better, but apart from that great place to go

Although good pricing on food is generally appreciated the quality was not at the usual expectation you would have for Cuban food. You expect greasy and salty...but this just was not tasty. It’s a good setup and a clean restaurant though. Definitely don’t recommend the Mexican part of the menu as well. Granted you should really never order Mexican at a Cuban joint...

This place is the most disgusting place in the keys. Please save your money and do not order the $22.00 ceviche. It's complete garbage.

We were heading to Starbucks and noticed the line was in the road so we parked and walked next door to this place. Boy were we thankful for this amazing sweet spot. The pastries are on point and so is the Cuban sandwich. We will be coming back again.

The waitress are very rude and the pastry taste doughy. The service is not very good nor the food.

Rooms could have been cleaner. Floors looked clean but feet got black when walking on them.

We shared a cuban sandwich and a piece of key lime pie between 2 people. The sandwich was amazing and a very cost effective lunch for us. The key lime pie was also amazing and served with just the right amount of cream. The chocolate milkshake was to die for. The decor and service wasn't much, but the food is good and very reasonably priced. Under $25 for our shared meal.

My top spot for delicious cuban food. Visited on a Thursday. The staff was very kind and attentive. The bill was decent for the quality. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.

Cannot express how amazing this place is! Food is fresh and DELICIOUS! Service is friendly and fast. Portions are incredibly large. Must get the Cuban coffee, fried plantains and ceviche!!!

Really poor customer service and watch your bill. If you don't pay attention they will price gauge you.

came for lunch yesterday. the oxtail was delicious! came back for breakfast today and wasn't disappointed - huevos rancheros con choirizo on the veranda watching the sunrise was awesome! the cuban coffee is a must.edit - hit dennys on the way home for sandwiches. freaking awesome. this is the place to pit stop on your way to/from key west.
